Back to Skip and Pete. There was an interesting article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on this gameday citing the increase in attendance at games this season despite the Braves poor season. However, television ratings dropped almost 30%. Why? I'd say because Fox took over Turner South and those idiots are broadcating the majority of the games now and you never hear Skip or Pete. There was an ENOURMOUS backlash from the fans a couple of years ago when TBS tried to replace Skip and Pete, and they were back within weeks. Fox didn't seem to learn from history. It will be interesting to see what happens next year.
