It's interesting- the Braves have retired 5 numbers, those of Warren Spahn, Dale Murphy, Eddie Matthews, Phil Niekro, and, of course, Hank Aaron. 5 players in 40 years. Yet, there are three more players whose numbers are sure to be retired all on the team right now: John Smoltz, Andruw Jones (who just this week has publicized his desire to remain a Brave for the remainder of his career), and Chipper Jones.
