| How they met |
| Russell and his former roommate
Mike Giurato have hosted a Christimas party each of the last
four years for their college friends and it served as an annual
reunion of sorts. Over the years it has grown to include more
Charleston friends. Christina came to the party as the date
of one such friend, Larry Collett. Depsite having both attended
the College of Charleston and MUSC and having many mutual friends
Christina and Russell had never met in all their time in Charleston.
But they met that night and the rest is, as they say, history! |

Engagement |
 Russell
proposed to Christina early on the morning of May 17, 2007 on
Edisto Beach, where they have spent much of their time since
they have been dating. Earlier that night Christina and Russell
had been to his Senior Ball at the SC Aquarium in Charleston
celebrating medical school graduation with his classmates. A

Wedding |
 Christina
and Russell wil offer each other their hands in marriage on
April fifth two-thousand and eight at five o'clock in the evening
as the sun sets over the marsh at Cypress Trees Plantation on
Edisto Island, South Carolina. The ceremony will be officiated
by Russell's brother, Reverend Kenneth Lake, Junior. A recpetion
will follow immediately at the same location.
We encourage family and friends who are able join us in celebrateting
the most special day of our lives to come and spend as much
time at Edisto as you are able. We are sure you will love it
as much as we do. For those of you who will be coming early
or staying later, we have provided a list of things
to do and see while you are here.
