There are not hotels on Edisto Island. The closest hotels are approximately 45 minutes away in Charleston and Walterboro. However, we have arranged for discounted rates on beach houses and condiminiums through Atwood Vacations. You will find that if you reserve a property with a group the nightly rate will be comparable to, if not lower than, a hotel. In addition, cabins are available through the Edisto Beach State Park.
Atwood Vacations
Reservations for beach houses, condos at Wyndham Ocean Ridge, or Bay Creek Villas at the Edisto Marina can be made through Atwood Vacations. Please ask for Erin Garner and mention that you are with the Hamilton-Lake wedding in order to receive the discounted rates that have been arranged. You may view houses, condos, and villas online at www.atwoodvacations.com but do not make online reservations or you will not recieve the discount. Printed Edisto Beach Vacation Rental Guides are available through Atwood Vacations free of charge upon request for those who would rather view available properties in a booklet.

In addition to the discounted rates we have arranged for all bed and bath linens, as well as beach towels, to be provided free of charge at all accomodations booked through Erin Garner.

*There are several area private schools that will be having their Spring Break the same week as the wedding so please make your reservations early to ensure you are able to reserve the lodging of your choice.
Edisto Beach State Park

Lodging Information: Seven cabins are completely furnished, heated, air-conditioned, and supplied with bath and bed linens, basic cooking and eating utensils, coffee maker, microwave, a television and each includes a screened-in porch.

The cabin area is located on the salt marsh/Scott Creek, 1½ miles from the ocean. Cabin guest have access to a dock for crabbing and fishing.

Pets are not permitted in the cabins or cabin area.

Reservations requested less than three (3) days in advance of check-in must be made directly through the park. For example: If today is Wednesday and you are making a reservation for the upcoming Friday, you must make the reservation by contacting the park directly.

› Two Bedroom Cabin/Villa: Five two-bedroom cabins accommodate up to six people, and includes a queen size bed in each bedroom and a fold-out sofa in the living room.

Nightly rate is $72-90.

Discounted rates are available for seasons of lower demand.

› Three Bedroom Cabin/Villa: Two three-bedroom cabins accommodate up to six people, and includes a queen size bed in each bedroom.
