Christina Marie Hamilton was born on April 20, 1979 in Macon,
GA. She spent most of her childhood years in Dothan, AL before
moving to Edisto Island, SC when she was 10. While living on
Edisto Christina went to St. Paul's Country Day School (you
may not have heard of the school but if you've ever lived in
Charleston you've likely heard of the Halloween Extravaganza
in Hollywood, SC that they put on each year). In high school
Christina played softball and volleyball and was also a cheerleader.
After high school Christina went to the University of SC (Go
Cocks!) for one semester, though she didn't like it and transferred
to the College of Charleston where she earned a degree in Exercise
Science. After CofC Christina went to MUSC where she first obtained
her BSN and then her MSN from the nurse practitioner program.
Even before graduating Christina worked at Roper Hospital in
Charleston where she continued to work until recently. She has
recently completed a travel nursing assignment at Aiken Regional
Medical Center. Christina also plans to obtain her Family Nurse
Practioner license in the near future.
